The Café Apartments – Overhyped?

The Quick Verdict

To be honest, The Café Apartments didn’t live up to the hype for us because we did not have a good experience there. 🫣

Located in District 1, The Café Apartments is, as the name suggests, a building filled with cafés. A quick TikTok search shows many influencers recommending this attraction.

There’s a small fee for the elevator, and they don’t have change early in the morning, so be prepared to buy something nearby first if needed.

We tried Meraki Café on the 5th floor, which is a very aesthetic and cute café. The egg coffee was very sweet, and portions are on the smaller side, so we ended up walking to Saigon Centre for lunch after.

The view was also non-existent since they were building something right in front.

On the way back, the elevator was broken, so we ended up walking all the way down. It wasn’t ideal since I had my parents with us, and my dad finds walking for too long difficult.

Overall, The Café Apartments is a very aesthetic building, and there are plenty of other cafés in the building we didn’t get to try, but if you’re looking for views, it might not be the best at the moment since there’s construction going right in front.
